Upclaw was born in the middle of the great Memorial Day flood of 1981. Ever since then he has been trying to make it rain in each and every aspect of his life. The love affair with sports prognostication began at an early age with a successful prediction that the 1986 NBA Finals would go to the Celtics in 6 games. Upclaw is proud to never have held down a job that would in any way be considered a career, although he has pursued various interests from law school to teaching to security along with his famous sports handicapping career. Upclaw is married, sorry ladies, and is the proud owner of two yorkshire terriers from acclaimed yorkie fighting stock. Bakupbal
Bakupbal from a very early age has been addicted to gambling and everything that comes with it. In his first gambling experience at age 11 in the Las Vegas airport, a single quarter in a slot and it was over. His first real entrepreneurship was at age 20 when he and some friends started their own sports gambling business. After a few very successful months their business had been transformed into a semi-service casino. With poker, sports, and keno offered this truly was a self sustained business venture. After a couple years of running the illegal casino, and dropping out of college it all ended. After a man backed out on a $2,500 debt and having to hunt him down and take care of business, it was the right time to end things. Until now that was his only venture in gambling, but Nordge has taken it to a whole different level of things as well as a new perspective on gambling. With Nordge it was the brainchild that was envisioned over 15 years ago, and has finally come into premonition with the start of Bakupbal and Upclaw. Nordge was originally intended to be a gambling type game which will hopefully come to light at the beginning of the 2009 football season. While Bakupbal still occasionally gambles, his lifeline figuring out the spread and what it means. By that simple statement it will allow him to predict the winner with utmost accuracy. Besides gambling another love in Bakupbal’s life has always been bowling. He has always bowled in leagues and he recently reached the pinnacle of bowling when he bowled a 300 game in January 2009. Together with Upclaw they form a nasty duo on the lanes. In creating Nordge he has the goal of creating an hysterical atmosphere in which the viewers are not only given picks, but are given them in a amusing way. With the partnership of Molson Canadian it brings Bakupbal’s two loves in life together. With gambling and beer Bakupbal is at his best state of mind, and add in bowling and Bakupbal’s life comes full circle. Bakupbal’s hope for Nordge is greater than anyone can imagine, and with new editions and plans in the works almost every week, Nordge will soon be the premier handicapping website on the market. Bakupbal is always open to proposals and new ideas from the fans that have grown to love Nordge.
